Our main ongoing project is our literacy center.  We started with our Beach Preschool and Nutrition program for the youngest members of the community.  We believe it's important to give them a head start with nutrition and education.  This also helps provide daycare for the fathers who are primarily fishermen.  This gives the mothers an opportunity to also go out for some daily work if they choose as well. Our next step is to start our Butterfly English Medium Elementary so these children can continue their education in a quality school that will give them the best opportunities and keep them closer to home.
